The bank's activities are structured across four primary divisions: Corporate Banking, SME Banking (serving Small and Medium-sized Enterprises), Retail Banking, and Investment Banking. Clients have access to a wide array of products and services, including current and correspondent accounts, diverse deposit options, and investment savings vehicles. Halyk Bank provides both credit and debit cards, alongside consumer loans and mortgage financing. The bank also facilitates letters of credit, trade finance, foreign currency exchange, interbank transactions, cash management, and documentary services. Furthermore, it is active in securities and foreign currency trading, processes transfers, handles cash and payment card processing, and provides a range of other general banking functions. Beyond its core banking operations, the institution extends into areas such as leasing, telecommunications, brokerage, cash collection, and asset management. It also provides motor, property, and life insurance solutions, complemented by comprehensive online banking facilities. The bank caters to a broad customer base, including individual consumers, large corporations, small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), and individual entrepreneurs. Known previously as Halyk Savings Bank of Kazakhstan Joint Stock Company, the entity adopted its current name, Halyk Bank of Kazakhstan Joint Stock Company, in June 2023. Established in 1923, its main headquarters are located in Almaty, within the Republic of Kazakhstan. Halyk Bank operates as a subsidiary under JSC Holding Group ALMEX.
