Anthropic formed a Global Premier Partnership with technology services provider HCLTech on October 12, 2026. The agreement aims to accelerate enterprise adoption of agentic artificial intelligence with an emphasis on governance, cybersecurity, and safety.

Under the partnership, HCLTech will establish a dedicated Anthropic Business Unit and a Center of Excellence to create solutions powered by Claude, Cowork, and Claude Code. The unit will offer secure sandbox environments for enterprise deployments, assist clients with AI-native engineering practices, and train corporate workforces.

Software division HCLSoftware became an independent software vendor partner for Anthropic. It will embed Claude and Claude Code capabilities into enterprise products across cybersecurity, automation, and business process applications, including HCL BigFix, HCL AppScan, and Actian AI analyst. HCLTech will also integrate the models into its AI Force engineering platform across IT support, code remediation, and digital employee workflows.

AI can only be as useful as it is trustworthy, and we build Claude to give companies the confidence to bring it into their most sensitive and valuable work. HCLTech manages those kinds of systems for banks, hospitals, telecom companies and manufacturers, and we're excited to partner with them as they integrate Claude and Claude Code.

Daniela Amodei, Co-founder and President of Anthropic

For HCLTech, the deal expands its enterprise software and consulting offerings across financial services, healthcare, telecommunications, and manufacturing. The company employs more than 223,000 people across 60 countries and reported consolidated revenues of $14.8 billion for the 12 months ending June 2026.
