Argentine peso trades at 1,545 per dollar in Banco Nación
The blue rate settled at 1,555 pesos while country risk reached 636 points on Friday.
The official US dollar closed trading on Friday, October 2, at 1,495 Argentine pesos for purchase and 1,545 Argentine pesos for sale at Banco Nación. Earlier in the session, the retail rate had been quoted at 1,490 pesos for purchase and 1,540 pesos for sale.
In parallel trading, the informal blue dollar traded at 1,555 Argentine pesos for sale, requiring 155,500 Argentine pesos to purchase 100 US dollars. Financial exchange rates also registered updates, with the MEP dollar trading at 1,550.22 and later 1,551.96 Argentine pesos, while the CCL dollar moved from 1,623.23 to 1,627.65 Argentine pesos. The card rate stood at 2,020.20 Argentine pesos, calculated with a 30% advance earnings tax.
Crypto stablecoins traded at 1,602.28 Argentine pesos for DAI, 1,602.36 Argentine pesos for USDC, and 1,600.53 Argentine pesos for USDT, after DAI was quoted at 1,598.65 Argentine pesos on Ripio. In other currency segments, the euro stood at 1,746.82 Argentine pesos in the parallel market, and Banco Nación quoted the Brazilian real at 278 Argentine pesos for purchase and 303 Argentine pesos for sale. Argentina's country risk index, tracked by JP Morgan, reached 636 basis points.
In digital assets, Bitcoin stood at 86,805.17 US dollars and Ether traded at 2,755.82 US dollars during the day.
