The board approved a second 90-day buyback program after concluding the first round.
Sendas Distribuidora, the operator of Brazilian wholesale chain Assaí, approved its second debenture repurchase program on 17 September 2026. The company authorized a maximum financial volume of BRL 200 million for the transaction.
The new buyback program has a maximum term of 90 days. It is scheduled to run from 21 September 2026 through 20 December 2026.
The approval comes immediately after the full completion of Assaí's first debenture repurchase program. Under that initial plan, the retailer disbursed BRL 200 million to acquire 195,201 debentures across seven issuances, reaching the program's authorized spending limit.
In secondary market trading, the debentures traded at discounts between 0.51% and 2.80% relative to unit par value as of 15 September 2026. The company stated that the repurchased debentures have been or will be cancelled.
