Aura posts record output of 95,557 GEO in Q3 2026
Quarterly production rose 27% sequentially as Borborema and MSG drove volume gains.
Aura Minerals reported preliminary consolidated production of 95,557 gold equivalent ounces (GEO) at current prices for the third quarter of 2026. The result marks a quarterly production record, rising 27% from the previous quarter and 29% compared to the third quarter of 2025. At constant prices, quarterly volume reached a 26% gain sequentially and 25% year-over-year.
Sales reached 93,742 GEO in the quarter, an increase of 20% compared to the second quarter of 2026 and 25% above the third quarter of 2025 including MSG. Excluding MSG, quarterly sales rose 7% year-over-year. For the first nine months of 2026, production reached a record 253,131 GEO at current prices and 255,268 GEO at constant prices, while nine-month sales totaled 253,414 GEO. Production over the last twelve months reached 335,198 GEO, up 27% from the prior-year twelve-month period.
Across its operations, MSG increased output by 85% sequentially to 13,321 GEO as average grades improved to 1.19 g/t and recovery reached 89.6%. Borborema delivered record production of 22,842 GEO, up 60% quarter-on-quarter and accounting for about 24% of consolidated volume. Aranzazu produced 24,920 GEO, up 39% from the previous quarter, while realized copper rose to $6.46 per pound and realized gold averaged $4,285 per ounce. Almas produced 14,264 GEO, Minosa delivered 13,344 GEO, and Apoena produced 6,865 GEO.
CEO and President Rodrigo Barbosa stated that the operational ramp-up keeps the company on track to achieve its full-year guidance. Barbosa added that construction at the Era Dorada project reached 13.1% overall physical progress on time and within budget, with contractor mobilization reaching 60% for underground development.
