The next generation of Autodesk Assistant connects Forma, Fusion, and Flow.
Autodesk previewed new agentic artificial intelligence capabilities across its three industry clouds on 16 September 2026 at Autodesk University 2026 in Las Vegas. The tools extend across Autodesk Forma for architecture, engineering, and construction, Autodesk Fusion for design and manufacturing, and Autodesk Flow for media and entertainment.
The capabilities shape the next generation of Autodesk Assistant, extending the tool across products, projects, and teams rather than confining it to single software applications. A standalone experience is planned for release in 2027, when the company will also announce rollout timing, subscription terms, and regional availability.
The new architecture includes Personal Pulse to highlight prioritized issues, Assistant Spaces for team collaboration, and Assistant Builder to let clients connect their own AI agents and partner services. Operations run on the Autodesk AI Orchestrator, which selects models based on accuracy, speed, security, and cost.
The company reported findings from its 2027 State of Design and Make Report, where 70% of surveyed leaders and experts stated that they expect AI to reduce repetitive work and create additional working capacity.
