Daily default caps start at $2,400,000 with options to adjust up to $30 million.
Bancolombia, a key subsidiary of Grupo Cibest, is reminding customers of automated caps on specific banking transactions for September and the remainder of 2026. Transactions exceeding these preconfigured daily values will be blocked automatically if users do not modify them in advance.
The institution applies a default daily limit of $2,400,000 for payments to third parties conducted through its Sucursal Virtual Personas digital portal. Customers who need to transfer larger amounts can raise this specific cap up to $30 million per day through digital channels.
Users can review and adjust these thresholds using the Editar topes setting across authorized platforms. The bank noted that rules vary depending on the transaction type, channel, and account details, with transfers to registered accounts carrying higher daily limits than payments sent to non-registered accounts.
