Asset manager BlackRock raised its holding in
Iguatemi preferred shares to 5.019%, according to a company filing released on Monday, October 5, 2026.
As of September 30, BlackRock held 21,852,906 preferred shares in the Brazilian shopping mall operator. The firm also held 733,856 cash-settled derivatives tied to the preferred shares, representing 0.169% of that class. This move reverses a cut disclosed a few days earlier, when BlackRock reported that its stake had dropped below the 5% regulatory reporting threshold set by Brazil's securities regulator, the CVM.
Iguatemi shares jumped 11% on Monday during a broad market rally, with the benchmark Ibovespa rising 8.9% to 209,312 points. Iguatemi units have gained 24% so far in 2026.
