BTG Pactual concludes fundraising of up to BRL 1 billion on Friday, October 9, 2026, for its fourth infrastructure fund, according to a report by InvestNews. The bank, led by André Esteves, established a broad mandate allowing investments across energy, transport, sanitation, and telecommunications. The new vehicle may also concentrate its capital in a single target company.

The offering is restricted to qualified investors who hold more than BRL 1 million in financial investments. BTG partner Renato Mazzola, who heads the bank's infrastructure and private equity areas and represents the institution at Cosan and V.tal, will lead the investment strategy.

The franchise began with FIP Brasil Energia, raised in 2005 and closed in 2022 after deploying BRL 1.2 billion across eight power generation and transmission firms, including CPFL and TEVISA. In 2013, Infraestrutura II launched with BRL 1.6 billion in committed capital across five assets: LAP, Contrail, Sete Brasil, GlobeNet, and Tropicália. Container logistics operator Contrail, linked to the Port of Santos, recently represented 96.8% of that fund's net assets.

The third fund, Infraestrutura III, participated in a major investment in Cosan in 2025. Part of its portfolio is allocated to shares and vehicles tied to the group founded by Rubens Ometto, while the remainder is invested in Grande Sertão Participações, a holding company controlling three power transmission firms.
