BlackRock projects 30% asset growth in Brazil in 2027
Brazil CEO Bruno Barino forecasts strong expansion regardless of election outcomes
BlackRock expects to expand its managed asset base in Brazil by about 30% in 2027, according to comments made by Bruno Barino, CEO of BlackRock Brazil, on October 2, 2026. The asset manager expects this expansion pace regardless of local electoral outcomes.
For 2026, the firm projects an asset base expansion between 30% and 35% in the country. That projection follows a 12% expansion recorded in Brazil during 2025.
The growth is supported by rising demand among Brazilian investors for global assets. Currently, 90% of the asset base managed by BlackRock in Brazil is invested internationally.
Globally, BlackRock manages 15.3 trillion dollars in total assets. The firm has not disclosed the nominal total value of its assets under management in Brazil.
