Constellation Brands buys RTD maker SpikedAde for up to $353M
The deal includes $75 million at closing and up to $278 million in earnouts over five years.
Constellation Brands announced on October 6, 2026, that it has acquired 100% of SpikedAde, a spirit-based ready-to-drink beverage brand. The transaction includes an initial payment of $75 million at closing.
The agreement also includes additional contingent consideration of up to $278 million payable over five years, tied to the future performance of the SpikedAde business. Constellation noted that dollar sales in the spirit-based ready-to-drink category grew by 25% over the past year.
SpikedAde produces non-carbonated, zero-sugar, 100-calorie vodka-based drinks inspired by sports drink flavors. The brand has an established footprint across the eastern United States.
Constellation plans to integrate the SpikedAde team into its Beer Division. The company will take over production oversight, marketing, and distribution, aligning rollout with its Gold Network Distributor partners.
