The acquisition from Linden Capital and Audax expands its cancer pathology solutions.
Danaher Corporation's subsidiary Leica Biosystems announced on September 28, 2026, that it completed the acquisition of privately held StatLab Medical Products. Leica Biosystems acquired the company from private equity firms Linden Capital Partners and Audax Private Equity.
StatLab manufactures pre-analytical consumables and equipment used in medical laboratories. The transaction unites StatLab's portfolio with Leica Biosystems' digital pathology and artificial intelligence diagnostic offerings, covering workflows from specimen collection to staining, digital imaging, and reporting.
Together, we are even better positioned to help laboratories achieve the consistency, standardization and quality needed to advance precision oncology at scale. When clinicians have access to timely, high-quality diagnostic information, they are better equipped to understand each patient's cancer and determine the most appropriate care approach.
The transaction closed on September 28, 2026. Danaher, which employs approximately 60,000 associates worldwide across life sciences and diagnostics, did not disclose the financial terms of the purchase.
