The exclusive agreement covers Canada and the US starting in the 2026-27 season
On 17 September 2026, DoorDash and the National Hockey League announced a multiyear North American agreement. The deal names DoorDash the official on-demand delivery and pick up partner of the NHL in Canada and the United States, marking the company's first partnership with the league.
The exclusive agreement takes effect immediately for the upcoming 2026-27 NHL season. DoorDash receives broad marketing rights, league designations, branding on digitally enhanced dasherboards during nationally televised games, and integrations across tentpole events including the Winter Classic, the Stadium Series, and the Stanley Cup Playoffs.
Promotions begin in Canada on 29 September 2026, the first day of the season, followed by regular-season deals every Wednesday and Saturday. DoorDash also becomes the presenting sponsor for Wednesday night regular-season games and Stanley Cup Playoff games broadcast on Prime Video in Canada. The company plans an on-site presence at the Heritage Classic in Winnipeg on 25 October 2026.
