EA expands EA SPORTS FC 27 with new leagues, clubs and stadiums, including Liga MX return

Electronic Arts (EA) on September 2, 2026 announced an expanded roster of leagues, clubs, partners and stadiums coming to EA SPORTS FC 27, its next football title. The additions include new and renewed partnerships with major European clubs, the return of Liga MX, and the continuation of EA SPORTS FC's relationships with the Bundesliga, the ROSHN Saudi League and the A-League.

On the European side, S.S. Lazio returns, taking the number of officially licensed Serie A Enilive clubs to 17, while new and renewed marketing partnerships were confirmed with Aston Villa and Liverpool FC. EA said fans can exclusively experience the Premier League in the game, with all 20 clubs, managers, stadiums, kits and pundit commentary.

Liga BBVA MX joins EA SPORTS FC 27 with all 18 clubs in a fully licensed experience, and EA said it is extending its long-standing Bundesliga partnership across the Bundesliga and Bundesliga 2. The renewed ROSHN Saudi League and A-League agreements bring their clubs and players into the game, with the A-League featuring updated team sheets and kits following its season launch in October.

EA said EA SPORTS FC 27 features 21,000+ players across 800+ clubs and national teams, 140 stadiums and 35+ leagues, powered by over 300 global football partners. New in-game stadiums include AS Monaco's Stade Louis II, Arsenal's Emirates Stadium and VfB Stuttgart's MHPArena. Pre-orders are open, and the game launches worldwide on September 25, 2026, with Ultimate Edition early access from September 18, 2026, across PlayStation, Xbox, PC and Nintendo Switch platforms.
