The new integration connects electrical equipment data and engineering tools across building design and operations.
Eaton announced on 10 September 2026 that it is expanding its collaboration with design software maker Autodesk. As part of the initiative, Eaton developed Workbench 360, a tool designed to integrate its electrical equipment data, engineering expertise, and project details into Autodesk Revit, Autodesk Forma, and Autodesk Tandem.
The integration aims to simplify commercial building workflows across campus, healthcare, and data center environments. Through Autodesk Revit, engineers can access Eaton building information modeling content and application support early in the design phase. Workbench 360 extends visibility through Forma Build into order milestones, submittals, and shipping updates, while connecting to Autodesk Tandem and Eaton Brightlayer digital energy twin capabilities during operations.
As buildings become more electrified and infrastructure projects become more complex, customers need new ways to connect design decisions with project execution and long-term operations. Our collaboration with Autodesk helps bring together the expertise, information and workflows needed to make better decisions earlier, improve coordination across project teams and deliver critical infrastructure with greater speed and confidence.
Sid Haksar, Head of Construction Strategy & Partnerships at Autodesk, noted that bringing Eaton electrical data into Autodesk workflows helps reduce friction between design, construction, and operations. Eaton plans to demonstrate Workbench 360 at booth 2216 during Autodesk University. Eaton generated 27.4 billion dollars in revenue in 2025 and serves customers across 180 countries.
