The airline agrees to lease one E-Freighter from Regional One to expand cargo operations.
Brazilian planemaker Embraer announced on 16 September 2026 that BermudAir will become the first operator of the E190F cargo aircraft in the Americas. BermudAir will also be the second airline worldwide to fly aircraft from the manufacturer's E-Freighter program.
Under the agreement, BermudAir agreed to lease one converted E190F jet from aircraft leasing company Regional One. Regional One holds five firm orders for the E190F conversion program and has already taken delivery of two converted aircraft.
The E190F freighter offers a usable cargo volume of 100 cubic metres and a maximum payload capacity of 13.5 metric tons. The new aircraft will expand BermudAir's current fleet, which operates two Embraer E175 and two Embraer E190 passenger jets across 10 destinations.
