Eneva ends São João field agreement with Petro-Victory
The companies mutually terminated their deal following binding conditions under a memorandum of understanding.
Brazilian energy company
Eneva and oil and gas operator Petro-Victory have mutually agreed to terminate their current agreement. The decision follows the fulfillment of binding conditions established under their Memorandum of Understanding, Petro-Victory announced on October 7, 2026.
The termination follows an earlier update on April 28, 2026, regarding results from the SJ 12 well. As a consequence of the agreement's end, Petro-Victory retains its 100% operating working interest in the São João field, along with full development rights and the freedom to pursue alternative commercial or strategic arrangements.
The parties maintain amicable discussions regarding potential opportunities for the future.
