Falabella registers LA UNO! home brand in Peru
The retailer filed with Indecopi to expand into furniture and home decor.
Chilean retail group
Falabella S.A. started registration procedures for its private label LA UNO! before Peru's National Institute for the Defense of Competition and Protection of Intellectual Property (Indecopi). The application targets class 20, which covers furniture and household goods.
The class 20 filing includes beds, mattresses, pillows, sofas, tables, chairs, wardrobes, mirrors, shelves, and decoration items. This move prepares the company to introduce the brand to the Peruvian furniture and home segment, where it already operates department stores, home improvement centers, supermarkets, and falabella.com.
The trademark filing follows Falabella's announcement of US$ 900 million in investments for 2026. Those funds are allocated toward new store openings, store remodels, logistics, and technology across the region.
For 2026, Falabella's roadmap in Peru also features new express-format stores focused mainly on apparel. The Chilean group originally entered Peru in 1995 through the acquisition of the Saga department store chain.
