The food company faces 4.2 billion BRL in debt across 13,000 creditors.
Brazilian food company Fictor Alimentos S.A., now operating as FASA S.A., is set to undergo a leadership change as it advances through its judicial recovery process, according to a report published on September 24, 2026, by Lauro Jardim in O Globo.
The management transition follows a period of corporate instability. Following executive resignations in March 2026, the company was left with just 1 sitting board member.
The company entered judicial recovery in April 2026, reporting total liabilities of 4.2 billion BRL distributed among 13,000 creditors. It is currently organizing formal creditor meetings to vote on its restructuring plan.
Alongside the restructuring, the company proposed a reverse stock split on September 18, 2026. Under the proposal, every 37 pre-split common shares will be grouped into 1 post-split common share, with shareholders scheduled to vote on the measure in October.
