Fictor ex-partner wins stay on bank secrecy order
Luiz Phillippe Gomes Rubini halts an order covering 3 years of statements.
Former Grupo Fictor partner Luiz Phillippe Gomes Rubini has obtained a second-instance court decision suspending an order that had breached his banking secrecy, according to a report by Valor Econômico on October 2, 2026.
The measure had been authorized on September 16, 2026, by the São Paulo state court. The order targeted both Rubini and Rafael Ribeiro Leite de Góis, who serves as founder, partner, and CEO of Fictor, covering 3 years of bank statements.
The secrecy breach order took place against the backdrop of Grupo Fictor's judicial recovery proceeding, which listed declared liabilities of 4.3 billion BRL.
Separately, CEO Rafael Ribeiro Leite de Góis was targeted in March 2026 by a Federal Court investigation known as Operação Fallax. That inquiry is examining estimated financial damages of 500 million BRL, with an authorized asset freeze cap of 47 million BRL.
