Glencore signs 820 GWh clean power deal in Poland

Glencore Energy Europe B.V., a subsidiary of Glencore, has signed a five-year power purchase agreement with Italian renewable producer ERG to source electricity in Poland.

Under the contract, ERG will supply Glencore with 164 GWh of green electricity per year starting on January 1, 2027. The total contracted volume amounts to 820 GWh across the full five-year term.

The energy will come from three Polish wind farms operated by ERG: Radziejów, Słupia, and Szydłowo. The contracted volume represents 70% of the combined expected generation of those three wind assets.

The transaction brings ERG's cumulative annual contracted volume under power purchase agreements to 4 TWh over the past five years. Long-term agreements now account for 45% of ERG's total power generation as of September 25, 2026.
