The funding extension supports Cyera's enterprise AI security and international expansion.
Growth Equity at Goldman Sachs Alternatives has invested $400 million in Cyera as an extension to the security firm's Series G funding round, which was led by Evolution Equity. The injection aims to accelerate Cyera's development of a platform governing enterprise access across humans, machines, and autonomous AI agents.
The fresh capital will back Cyera's AI security product roadmap, broaden its presence in the federal government sector, and expand its international footprint across EMEA and APAC. Cyera, which recently acquired Oasis Security to integrate non-human identity management, currently carries a valuation exceeding $12 billion.
Irit Kahan, Managing Director within Growth Equity at Goldman Sachs Alternatives, stated that securing AI will be one of the defining categories in enterprise technology over the next decade. Kahan highlighted that Cyera's execution and market traction position it to serve as the critical infrastructure layer as autonomous agents multiply.
Goldman Sachs held approximately $4.0 trillion in assets under supervision globally as of June 30, 2026, with Goldman Sachs Alternatives managing more than $706 billion in alternative assets. Since 2003, the Growth Equity team within the unit has invested over $17 billion in growth-stage companies.
