The Colombian digital wallet also introduces a 5% annual return on dollar and euro savings.
On 16 September 2026, José Manuel Ayerbe, CEO of dale!, the digital wallet of Colombian financial conglomerate Grupo Aval, announced new foreign-exchange features for its five million users in Colombia.
Users can now buy and sell digital dollars and digital euros directly within the app using stablecoins that track the price of those currencies on a 1:1 basis. The service was rolled out in partnership with fintech Akaunt, carries no commissions, and updates exchange rates every 15 minutes. dale! also offers a Mastercard credit card inside the app for international purchases in the user's preferred currency.
The platform is introducing an annual effective return of 5% for balances saved in dollars and euros. Users qualify for this yield by maintaining a minimum balance of US$50.
Ayerbe also stated that dale! plans to enable inbound and outbound international remittances for Colombia by the end of September 2026.
