The four Star Médica facilities reached roughly 50% combined progress by March 2026.
Grupo Carso, the conglomerate controlled by Carlos Slim, reported contracts to build four private Star Médica hospitals across Mexico. The facilities are located in Interlomas, Puebla, Polanco, and León. The projects are handled by the group's infrastructure and construction division.
The contracts were originally signed in 2022 with an initial combined value of MXN 4,327 million. In its report for the first quarter of 2026, Grupo Carso updated the total contracted value to approximately MXN 4,426 million. The document does not specify how much money had been disbursed or paid by March 2026.
As of March 31, 2026, the four projects posted an approximate combined construction progress of 50%. The initial completion targets were scheduled for 2024 and 2025. The company's first-quarter filing did not set new target completion or opening dates.
