The multi-year agreement supports distribution across Australia and New Zealand.
Drinkworks, part of Heineken, has entered into a new multi-year agreement with keg pooling provider Kegstar. The deal expands a long-standing partnership to support Drinkworks' beverage production and distribution across Australia and New Zealand.
Drinkworks manages premium beer and cider brands in the Australian market, including Stella Artois, Strongbow, Tiger, and Birra Moretti. Stephen Hopkins, General Manager of Drinkworks, stated that the extended contract provides the operational flexibility and reliability required to meet rising customer demand.
Kegstar, an international division of MicroStar Logistics, operates the region's largest pooled keg network. Ben Phipps, General Manager of Kegstar Australia and New Zealand, noted that the shared keg model helps beverage producers reduce capital expenditure and simplify logistics while scaling their operations.
Kegstar added nearly 100,000 kegs to its fleet over the past 18 months, which will back Drinkworks' continued volume and brand portfolio expansion across the hospitality sector.
