Customers can convert Ultimate Rewards points into cash to fund wealth accounts.
On 16 September 2026, Chase announced the rollout of "Invest Your Points", expanding its Ultimate Rewards program. The feature allows eligible cardholders to redeem reward points for cash to fund an eligible J.P. Morgan Wealth Management account.
Customers can direct the cash into an eligible J.P. Morgan Self-Directed Investing account or work with a J.P. Morgan advisor in a taxable investment account. The feature is available through Chase.com and the Chase Mobile app for cards in the Chase Freedom, Chase Ink and Chase Sapphire portfolios.
The self-directed investing platform provides unlimited commission-free online trades on thousands of US-listed stocks, ETFs, mutual funds and treasuries, alongside options trading with a $0.65 fee per contract. The bank also offers new customers up to $1,000 when opening and funding an eligible account with qualifying new money.
As of 30 June 2026, JPMorgan Chase reported $5 trillion in assets and $375 billion in stockholders' equity. Its wealth management division employs more than 6,000 advisors and oversees about $1.4 trillion in assets under supervision.
