The mobility company now offers terms starting from three months alongside upfront payment options.
Localiza announced on 14 September 2026 that its vehicle subscription service, Localiza Meoo, has been rebranded as Localiza Assinatura. The unit grew 14% over the past year and currently counts 70,000 clients.
The service is expanding its contract options to include shorter terms of three, six, and nine months alongside its traditional 12 to 48 month plans. According to a study conducted by the company, 73% of consumers showed strong interest in agreements lasting less than one year. Standard costs such as vehicle taxes, protection, revisions, and preventive maintenance remain included in the monthly fee.
The company also introduced a payment option allowing customers to prepay part of the contract to lower subsequent monthly fees. Localiza stated that this advance payment delivers a total financial discount that exceeds the CDI benchmark yield. According to the company, nine out of ten customers regularly use its mobile application to manage services, track mileage, monitor maintenance, and view real-time vehicle location.
