Microsoft announced on Tuesday, Sept. 15, 2026, that its board of directors declared a quarterly dividend of $0.98 per share. The payout reflects an increase of 7 cents, or 8%, over the previous quarter's dividend.
The dividend is payable Dec. 10, 2026, to shareholders of record on Nov. 19, 2026. The ex-dividend date will also be Nov. 19, 2026.
The company also scheduled its 2026 Annual Shareholders Meeting for Dec. 8, 2026. Shareholders of record at the close of business on Sept. 30, 2026, will be entitled to vote their shares.
The annual meeting will take place virtually. It will be hosted by Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Satya Nadella, Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer Amy Hood, Vice Chair and President Brad Smith, and Lead Independent Director Sandra E. Peterson.
