The car rental company issued 22,929,351 new shares after reaching full subscription.
The board of directors of Brazilian car rental firm Movida approved on September 28, 2026, the homologation of a capital increase totaling BRL 152,480,184.15. The operation reached the maximum planned subscription through the issuance of 22,929,351 new common shares.
Each share was issued at a price of BRL 6.65. From that amount, BRL 1.00 per share went toward Movida's share capital account, totaling BRL 22,929,351.00. The remaining BRL 5.65 per share, representing BRL 129,550,833.15, was credited to the capital reserve account. The total subscription included 1,721,100 shares taken up in the apportionment of remaining shares.
Following the approval, Movida's share capital increased from BRL 2,694,115,363.48 to BRL 2,717,044,714.48. Its total number of common shares rose from 402,158,941 to 425,088,292.
The transaction was first launched in July 2026 with a minimum subscription target of BRL 92,860,427.10, or 13,963,974 shares. Controlling shareholder Simpar had pledged a maximum subscription commitment of up to BRL 106,000,000. Movida had previously declared BRL 255,000,000 in gross interest on equity in December 2025 to support shareholder participation in the capital increase.
