NIO deliveries grow 25.4% in the third quarter of 2026

Electric vehicle manufacturer NIO announced that it delivered 109,178 vehicles in the third quarter of 2026, an increase of 25.4% compared with the same period a year earlier. Across the first three quarters of 2026, deliveries reached 300,301 units, representing a 49.2% year-over-year rise. As of September 30, 2026, the company's cumulative deliveries reached 1,297,893 vehicles.

For the month of September 2026, NIO delivered 37,408 vehicles, up 7.7% year-over-year. By brand, the total included 21,318 vehicles from the core NIO brand, 8,763 vehicles from the family-focused ONVO brand, and 7,327 vehicles from the compact FIREFLY brand.

The company also reported volume milestones for individual models. On September 20, 2026, the NIO All-New ES8 marked its 150,000th delivery on the first anniversary of its launch. NIO stated the vehicle ranked first in cumulative sales during its initial year among large SUVs and vehicles priced above RMB 400,000.

On September 23, 2026, the NIO ES9 achieved its 30,000th delivery milestone since deliveries started on May 28, 2026. NIO stated the model ranked first in monthly sales among battery electric vehicles priced above RMB 500,000 for three consecutive months.
