NIO and HERE Technologies announced on September 23, 2026, an expanded European partnership to advance intelligent navigation and automated driving features. The deployment now extends beyond the Firefly brand across NIO's full European lineup, including the ET5, ET7, EL6, EL7, and EL8 models.
NIO is integrating HERE's streaming map technology to supply live updates on road network changes, traffic regulations, and points of interest. The system will support the evolution of NIO's Navigation on Autopilot system, known as NOA, along with future assisted driving features powered by the NIO World Model end-to-end artificial intelligence architecture.
By deepening our collaboration with HERE, we are providing drivers with more up-to-date map experiences today while strengthening the foundation for future innovations in intelligent navigation and assisted driving across Europe.
As of September 1, 2026, NIO reported cumulative global deliveries of 1,260,485 vehicles. The company operates across three brands, NIO, ONVO, and Firefly, and has secured over 13,000 patents worldwide.
