The estate-approved tribute will feature exclusively on the ship ahead of its May 2027 debut.
On 16 September 2026, Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings revealed the entertainment lineup for its upcoming ship, Norwegian Aura. The offering is led by an estate-approved Whitney Houston tribute show.
The production is being developed in collaboration with The Estate of Whitney E. Houston. The partnership grants Norwegian Aura exclusive performance rights on board the vessel.
Norwegian Aura will also host several original stage productions designed for multigenerational cruise audiences. The company aims to differentiate its onboard experience across routes in North America, Europe, the Asia-Pacific region, and other international destinations.
The ship is scheduled to debut in May 2027. The performance of the vessel, including booked load factors, pricing, and onboard spending from ticketed shows, will serve as a key test for scaling this entertainment model to future ships.
