Founder Marcos Mindlin expanded his direct stake by 6% in a $4.3 million open-market purchase.
Pampa Energía founder and board chairman Marcos Marcelo Mindlin acquired approximately 1.3 million shares of the company for a total transaction value of $4.3 million, according to a filing with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission.
The direct purchase was executed at a volume-weighted average price of $3.34 per share. The transaction increased Mindlin's direct equity holdings by 6%, bringing his total direct ownership to roughly 21,355,592 shares.
Mindlin founded the Argentine integrated energy utility in 2005 and holds both local Buenos Aires shares and U.S.-listed American depositary receipts, where one ADR equals 25 local shares. Pampa Energía has a market capitalization of $4.3 billion and generated trailing twelve-month revenues of $2.4 billion, with its ADRs closing at $79.24 on 19 August 2026.
The company operates across power generation, transmission, and distribution, alongside upstream energy and petrochemical assets. Most analysts covering the firm rate the stock as a buy.
