Petrobras awards flexible pipe contract to TechnipFMC

Petrobras has awarded a subsea contract to TechnipFMC to supply flexible pipe systems for offshore developments in Brazil. The award followed a competitive bidding process.

TechnipFMC classifies the deal as significant, which corresponds to a value between $75 million and $250 million. The company included the award in its inbound orders for the third quarter of 2026.

Under the contract, TechnipFMC will design, engineer, and manufacture flexible flowlines across multiple Brazilian pre-salt fields. The project will utilize local engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain infrastructure.

Jonathan Landes, President of Subsea at TechnipFMC, stated that the agreement highlights Petrobras' ongoing confidence in the supplier's execution capabilities and flexible solutions.
