The utility upgrades its digital infrastructure to support corporate applications in São Paulo.
Companhia de Saneamento Básico do Estado de São Paulo is investing R$ 29 million to set up a new safe room in the Ponte Pequena neighborhood of São Paulo.
The facility will be built by Aceco TI and is scheduled for completion in August. It will cover an area of 97 square meters. The site will provide a high-availability, secure environment to run the utility's application platform based on SAP and NetSuite, which replace older mainframe systems.
This project marks the second time Aceco TI is constructing a safe room for Sabesp. The first collaboration took place in 2012, when the contractor expanded a facility in the Pinheiros district and deployed a command center. Once completed, the new Ponte Pequena site will operate integrated with the Pinheiros safe room and command center.
