The medical technology firm presented two new foot and ankle surgical tools on 16 September.
On 16 September 2026, Stryker announced new additions to its Foot & Ankle portfolio at the American Orthopaedic Foot & Ankle Society Annual Meeting in Seattle. The medical technology company launched Prophecy Surgical Planning for the Incompass Total Ankle System and introduced Hoffmann LRF smartHEX.
Prophecy Surgical Planning has supported patient-specific planning across more than 100,000 ankle cases over the past 14 years. Its integration with the Incompass system provides surgeons with 3D visualization alongside resect-through and pin-through fixation options on a single platform. Stryker designed Incompass using insights from Prophecy and its SOMA modeling database.
Alongside the ankle replacement system, Stryker introduced Hoffmann LRF smartHEX to expand its limb reconstruction portfolio. The platform adds new rings, struts, and frame components paired with updated planning software and a dedicated mobile application designed to connect patients directly with their prescribed correction plans.
Adam Jacobs, vice president and general manager of Stryker's Foot & Ankle business, noted that integrating Prophecy with Incompass combines preoperative planning with the company's newest total ankle system to support informed decision-making before surgery.
