Visa signs three-year esports deal with MOONTON Games

Visa announced a three-year partnership with video game developer MOONTON Games on September 21, 2026. Under the deal, Visa becomes the Global Payment Partner for the next three editions of the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang M Series, running from the M8 World Championship in 2027 through the M10 World Championship in 2029.

The agreement grants Visa cardholders preferential access to tournament tickets, along with opportunities to access VIP zones, meet-and-greets, and behind-the-scenes tours. The M8 tournament will also mark the competition's debut in Europe as the franchise expands internationally.

According to Esports Charts, the M Series reached 5.68 million peak concurrent viewers, making it the most-watched mobile esports tournament in history. Mobile Legends: Bang Bang has accumulated over 1.5 billion installations and counts 110 million monthly active users across 139 countries.

The tie-up follows Visa's initial entry into the competition at the M7 World Championship in Jakarta, Indonesia. Visa also expanded its involvement in the broader ecosystem by becoming an official sponsor of the MLBB Professional League Philippines for Season 18.
