The firms will form a dedicated team of embedded model evaluators over five years
On 18 September 2026, Accenture and Anthropic announced a partnership to establish a team of embedded evaluators. The specialist group will work directly alongside Anthropic's internal teams and safety partners to conduct alignment assessments, red-team models, and test safety safeguards.
Both companies expect to invest at least $1 billion each over the next five years in AI safety initiatives. Accenture will support the collaboration through Faculty, an applied artificial intelligence firm it acquired that previously developed the UK National Health Service's Early Warning System during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Accenture is bringing together a dedicated team with deep AI, security and industry expertise to work alongside Anthropic. Safety requires both deep technical expertise and a clear understanding of how AI is used in the real world.
Dr. Marc Warner, chief technology officer at Accenture and CEO of Faculty, stated that joining forces with Anthropic provides the scale needed to advance safe AI across governments, defense, and healthcare. Accenture employs approximately 799,000 people, serves around 9,000 clients, and generated roughly $70 billion in revenue for fiscal year 2025.
