The Series F deal values the AI infrastructure firm at $30.9 billion.
Robinhood Markets venture fund announced it took a stake in AI infrastructure firm Crusoe during its latest Series F financing round. Robinhood Ventures Fund I bought about $25 million of preferred stock as part of Crusoe's $3.9 billion round, which values the Denver, Colorado-based company at $30.9 billion. The fund stated the transaction closed on August 31.
Crusoe integrates energy sourcing, AI-optimized data centers, and an AI cloud platform to deliver computing power for artificial intelligence workloads. Robinhood CEO Vlad Tenev posted on X that the infrastructure behind AI matters as much as the models themselves, giving fund investors exposure as Crusoe builds that base. Other participants in Crusoe include Nvidia, ARK Invest, Atreides Management, and Valor Equity Partners.
Robinhood Ventures Fund I shares have gained more than 32% since launching earlier this year, while retail sentiment on Stocktwits recently slipped from neutral to bearish over 24 hours. Meanwhile, shares of Robinhood Markets have declined more than 4% in 2026, though retail sentiment improved from bearish to neutral.
