Amazon announced on October 5, 2026, that it will add more than 11,000 seasonal jobs across Mexico to manage heightened delivery demand during the fourth-quarter holiday period.

The temporary roles are focused heavily in key industrial and urban hubs. Mexico City and its surrounding metropolitan area will receive 4,000 seasonal workers, while Monterrey will add 3,000 positions and Guadalajara will account for 1,000 roles.

The seasonal expansion builds on Amazon's established logistics footprint in the country. Amazon operates 40 logistics sites in Mexico, connecting a delivery network that reaches 500 cities.

Between 2015 and 2026, Amazon committed a cumulative historical investment of 145 billion MXN in Mexico. That investment has expanded the company's logistics network capacity by 30 times compared with its initial launch scale.
