América Móvil's Claro to issue BRL 750 million in notes

Claro, the Brazilian telecommunications subsidiary of América Móvil, announced an offering of BRL 750 million in book-entry commercial notes on the evening of Tuesday, September 22. The issuance is aimed exclusively at professional investors.

The transaction will consist of 750,000 commercial notes issued in a single series with a par value of BRL 1,000 each. The securities carry a personal guarantee (garantia fidejussória). Details regarding remuneration have not yet been disclosed.

According to the company schedule, the official start date for the offering is September 30, with financial settlement expected on October 1. The distribution period will last 180 days.

The transaction follows the automatic distribution regime, exempting it from prior review by the Brazilian Financial and Capital Markets Association (Anbima) and the Securities and Exchange Commission of Brazil (CVM). Bradesco BBI acts as the lead coordinator, while Pentágono Distribuidora de Títulos e Valores Mobiliários serves as the fiduciary agent.
