Anthropic launches Claude Dashboards and Motion tools
The new features turn enterprise data into live visual panels and 30-second animated videos.
Artificial intelligence developer Anthropic has introduced two new enterprise visualization features for Claude: Dashboards and Motion. Claude Dashboards connects directly to corporate platforms such as BigQuery, Databricks, Snowflake, and Salesforce to display data that updates automatically as underlying numbers change.
Dashboards supports quick queries and allows users to inspect specific figures, charts, dates, or explanations. Anthropic stated that users can export these dashboards directly to analytics platforms including Amplitude, Grafana, Hex, Mixpanel, Omni, Perplexity, PostHog, and Sigma, with support for Looker, monday.com, and Tableau arriving later.
Claude Motion converts reports or datasets into 30-second explanatory animations. Rather than using a video generation model, the tool writes HTML, CSS, or JavaScript code to animate text, shapes, charts, and images based on user prompts. Users can edit the animations, adjust them via prompts, and export them as MP4 files or integrate with third-party tools like Adobe, Descript, HeyGen, Higgsfield, invideo, Luma AI, and Runway, with Canva and Captions coming soon.
Both tools launched in beta on October 8. Dashboards is available across Claude paid tiers, while Motion is restricted to Team and Enterprise plans. The release follows OpenAI launching Intelligent UI for ChatGPT on October 7.
Anthropic also announced that Claude Docs, Slides, and Design have completed their beta phase following their September introduction, becoming available to all users, including free accounts. The company reported that users have generated more than 45 million documents, slides, and designs across Claude. Those assets can be exported to PowerPoint, PDF, or editable Google Slides files, and can be modified through the mobile app. The standalone website for Claude Design will shut down on December 14, requiring organizations to migrate their design systems to the Artifacts section as Design integrates fully into the Claude ecosystem.
