Carvana announced on October 6, 2026, that it is adding Inspection and Reconditioning Center capabilities to its existing ADESA Orlando wholesale auction site in Sanford, Florida. The integration will create approximately 100 new skilled and entry-level jobs over time across vehicle inspection, reconditioning, and fulfillment.

The ADESA Orlando location spans approximately 65 acres and includes over 3,000 parking spaces. The site has operated wholesale auto auctions for more than 30 years and will now combine Carvana retail preparation alongside its existing auction services.

Brian Boyd, Senior Vice President of Inventory at Carvana, stated that adding these capabilities will increase reconditioning capacity while providing broader inventory selection and faster delivery across Florida. The company will use its proprietary software platform, CARLI, to manage operations and maintain consistency across its national network.

The expansion introduces a new local retail inventory pool, increasing the number of vehicles eligible for same-day delivery to buyers in Central Florida. Wholesale customers will also gain access to on-site inspection and reconditioning alongside ADESA digital and in-lane auctions.
