Delta Air Lines announced a new nonstop route connecting Salt Lake City and Flagstaff, Arizona. The year-round service will run twice daily starting June 7, 2027, operated with CRJ-550 aircraft.

The addition strengthens Delta's western hub in Salt Lake City, expanding access to outdoor leisure destinations such as Flagstaff, Sedona and the Grand Canyon. The expansion follows recently announced routes to Santa Rosa and Monterey in California.

Delta's shares have gained 46.7% over the past year. In comparison, the broader airline industry grew 5.7% over the same period.
