The system links ordering, loyalty, and reservations without requiring new software.
On September 30, 2026, DoorDash introduced DashOS, a software platform designed to integrate restaurant operations across marketplace channels, direct online ordering, reservations, loyalty programs, guest management, and marketing. The service operates in the background alongside existing setups, letting operators track customer behavior across multiple touchpoints without installing a separate system.
The company cited data from its 2026 Industry Trends Report indicating that 40% of surveyed United States restaurant operators manage four to five separate software systems, while 83% believe better connection among tools would improve profitability. The report also found that 74% of surveyed consumers said a dine-in visit led to a delivery order from the same venue, and 62% said a delivery order led them to dine in later.
In testing conducted between July and August 2026, DoorDash reported that personalized artificial intelligence recommendations lifted total reservations by more than 15%. Marketing tools from SevenRooms using aggregated DoorDash Marketplace data generated over $150 million in sales between January and August 2026. Furthermore, customers enrolled in omnichannel loyalty programs ordered 1.8 times as often and spent 1.75 times as much, while SevenRooms Voice AI added more than $10,000 in monthly revenue on average.
DoorDash is expanding integrations with point-of-sale and middleware partners, including Fiserv's Clover, Qu, Checkmate, Chowly, Deliverect, Stream, and Urban Piper. Starting in 2027, the company plans to roll out features like SevenRooms guest profiles, online ordering, in-store rewards, and omnichannel loyalty to more than 80,000 restaurants utilizing those systems.
