Embraer subsidiary Atech launches air traffic platform
The modular ATFM system was introduced at the ICAO Air Navigation World 2026 in Montreal.
Atech, a technology subsidiary of
Embraer, presented a new generation of air traffic flow management (ATFM) solutions on Monday, October 5, 2026. The launch took place during the ICAO Air Navigation World 2026 event in Montreal, Canada.
The platform was designed to allow air navigation service providers to adopt flow management capabilities on a modular and progressive basis, matching their operational needs and investment plans. It provides tools for strategic, pre-tactical, and tactical planning, while supporting collaborative demand and capacity management based on airspace conditions.
Operationally, the system helps anticipate saturation and respond to live disruptions caused by weather conditions, operational restrictions, and demand shifts. According to Atech, identifying bottlenecks early reduces airborne holding near destinations, cutting fuel burn, carbon dioxide emissions, and flight delays.
The technology joins Atech's digital air traffic management portfolio. The company highlighted potential deployment across growing aviation markets in Latin America, Africa, and Asia, where the modular setup enables providers to scale capabilities without requiring a full upfront rollout.
