The watsonx platform will help process over 23.3 million daily transactions.
IBM expanded its relationship with Turkey's Kredi Kayit Burosu on Monday, 14 September 2026. The contract brings watsonx, data systems and mainframe infrastructure into a platform handling critical financial workloads.
The bureau plans to modernize systems that process more than 8.5 billion transactions each year, which equals roughly 23.3 million transactions per day. The project covers software development acceleration, system monitoring, database management and API integration. Turkey's Anadolu Agency also reported the cooperation on Tuesday, 15 September 2026.
IBM did not disclose the financial value of the contract or a rollout schedule. The agreement comes after IBM reported second-quarter revenue of $17.2 billion, representing a 1% increase from the prior year. IBM shares slipped approximately 0.4% to $248.07 on Tuesday morning.
