In currency markets, the spot US dollar opened down 0.27% at R$ 5.2125, moving against the DXY index, which climbed 0.07% to 101.270 points.
Analysts at Ágora Investimentos noted that cautious sentiment abroad should limit the Ibovespa index, keep focus on the real and commodity shares, and stated that labor indicators and fiscal accounts may recalibrate interest rate expectations while election polls add volatility.

In presidential polling from AtlasIntel and Bloomberg five days ahead of the first round, a simulated runoff showed Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva with 47.6% and Flávio Bolsonaro with 47.7%, within the survey margin of error of 1 percentage point.
