The partnership with American Airlines and Mastercard adds Platinum and World Elite cards.
INVEX Banco, American Airlines and Mastercard launched the INVEX AAdvantage Platinum and INVEX AAdvantage World Elite credit cards in Mexico on 23 September 2026. The co-branded products allow cardholders to accumulate AAdvantage miles and Loyalty Points on everyday purchases.
The Platinum card offers no annual fee during the first year, a welcome bonus of 12,500 miles upon reaching a minimum spend, two miles per US dollar spent with American Airlines and participating hotels, and one mile per two US dollars on other spending. It also includes six annual airport lounge visits via LoungeKey and up to six interest-free monthly installments on American Airlines purchases.
The World Elite card also waives the first-year annual fee and provides a 25,000-mile welcome bonus. It earns four miles per US dollar on American Airlines and partner hotels, one mile per US dollar on general spending, unlimited LoungeKey lounge access, and up to six interest-free monthly installments on the airline.
Jean Marc Mercier, Director General of INVEX Grupo Financiero, highlighted that the launch represents the institution's first World Elite card to strengthen its position in the affluent segment. INVEX has 35 years in the market and over 1.6 million cards in circulation. At the close of the second quarter of 2026, INVEX Grupo Financiero reported a net loan portfolio of 53 billion Mexican pesos, assets under custody exceeding 680 billion Mexican pesos, and net assets under management of 34 billion Mexican pesos across 11 investment funds.
