Public users can deploy automated agents to trade event contracts or trigger portfolio moves.
Prediction market Kalshi has partnered with New York-based investing platform Public to launch automated trading tools powered by artificial intelligence agents.
On September 23, 2026, Public announced that its users can instruct AI agents to execute automated trading strategies linked to real-world events. Kalshi will supply the event contracts, execute the trades, and provide Public users with direct access to its prediction markets.
Under the new system, users define a strategy through a chatbot, which translates requests into fixed rules such as sending odds alerts or automatically buying and selling assets. The system creates a visual plan that investors must review and approve before any code runs, preventing agents from trading outside designated conditions. Public stated that the feature targets investors tracking events like Federal Reserve interest rate decisions, regulatory approvals, and corporate shipment metrics.
Public was founded in 2019 and is backed by venture capital firms including Accel and Tiger Global. It manages billions of dollars in assets across millions of users, positioning itself as an agentic brokerage to differentiate its service from traditional discount brokers.
